Great news for lovers of Park City’s Grappa Italian Restaurant! They have reopened, effective today, May 12th. Bill White’s flagship restaurant suffered damage from a fire back in September and has been closed since then for repairs and renovations. But now Grappa is again open for business serving dinner Sunday-Thursday from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Friday-Saturday from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.
Highlights from Executive Chef Benjamin Fillmore’s menu at Grappa include tuna crudo, whole roasted game hen, roasted branzino, osso bucco, lobster fregola sarda, Bolognese bianca, spaghetti arrabiata, scallops risotto, grilled Niman Ranch lamb chops, and much more, including gorgeous decor, patio dining, and an outstanding wine selection.
Looking for some great entertainment and want to think a bit out of the box for this Mother’s Day? I suggest having a rollicking good time with Mother’s Day Brunch with The Cabin Queens drag performance and “Sunday service.”
On Sunday, May 14th, the organizers at The Cabin say “The Cabin Queens are here to SLAY, bringing something new and different to The Cabin stage every Sunday. So take a seat, throw some dollar bills and have a shot.” This is a 21+ event. Doors open at 11 a.m. with a show from noon to 2 p.m. and photos and a meet & greet from 2 to 3 p.m.
Savor the Summit is Park City’s annual food and drink extravaganza, with restaurants setting dining tables that run the length of Old Town’s Main Street and attracts more than 2,500 participants annually. The al fresco soiree returns this summer on June 24, 2023 at 6 p.m. Guests wishing to attend Savor the Summit simply make reservations with the participating restaurants. The current lineup includes: 710 Bodega, Buona Vita, Café Terigo, Courchevel Bistro, Cuisine Unlimited, Bangkok Thai on Main, Deer Valley Resort, Don Goyo, Eating Establishment, Egyptian Theatre, Firewood, Flanagan’s, Fletcher’s, High West Distillery, Onyx Wine Bar, Purple Sage, Riverhorse on Main, Salt Box, Shabu, The Brick Restaurant, Underground Society, and Wasatch Brew Pub.
“Savor the Summit’s communal table down the center of historic Main Street symbolizes what the Park City dining community is all about,” said Park City Area Restaurant Association Executive Director Ginger Wicks. “We welcome guests to take a seat at the Grande Table to experience good company, incredible food and drink, live music, and thoughtful guest service to help us kick off another unforgettable summer season in the mountains.”
